I expected a deep dish Chicago pizza and they brought out a pizza that was similar to pizza hut's pan crust. It was good tasting, lacked toppings :/ Our waitress was uber uninterested in working. Another woman brought out our pizza, she was nice, I hope she got a cut of the tip. If they have to pool tips, then I feel sorry for waitresses that weren't our own, some of the staff clearly care more about gossiping at the front desk then serving.

We stopped in with the kids for a nice lunch while shopping in the area. The place was clean, and was well set for a family. The kind of place that has clean bathrooms and the kids can be a bit loud and you will not disturb anyone. The service was fantastic, attentive, polite, friendly and fast. The food was good, it wasn't too greasy and tasted fresh. Good spot for a nice pizza lunch or dinner.

Friendly, fast, delicious, reasonable with vast selections. Open late. Have great calzones, fried zucchini and pizza. Beer!

Good place to take your family for a quick bite more like a sports bar situation in my opinion. It may not be what I expected but it was ok. The food on the other hand wasn't that bad. It wasn't the worst place definitely not the best I've eaten at. You get those average places and this is one of those places.

This place is awesome! Fantastic beer selection and 9 tv's in the bar area alone to watch whichever sport I'd like. If it's not already on, just ask anyone to turn on whatever you'd like. Very accommodating staff! Amazing pizza, and even a gluten free crust option. I recommend this spot for anyone looking for great service, great pizza and a fricken awesome beer selection!

Had lunch there last Tuesday. Very slow service, 30 minutes to get a small pizza and half salad. Pizza was cold. Thirty bucks with one water and one iced tea and small soup. Not worth the money. Very poor for the money spent.

Seemed like the only place in town to get a late night snack. We sat at the bar since they dinning area was closed. We didn't mind but I hate hearing the bartenders banter with the single ladies trying to get their chicken finger on at 10pm on a Friday night. Whatever. The food was good though and a good selection of reverse happy hour specials. Pretty Fresh salad and our snack platter was yummy and we didn't get any moans and groans about ordering food so late. I hate that too -at bar and grill places. The bartender was giving out little samples of beer to the people sitting next to us. Seemed like they had a wide variety of local brews to the other garbage yeast water on tap- not my cup of liquid.

So we went back and I ordered the mac and cheese and I also asked for the person that I was supposed to ask for and let her know I was there. She was really nice and very happy that I was giving them another try, she swore it was going to be better this time. So it came out and it looked good, but I think all they did was just add a little more cream or milk, at first I thought it was good but I quickly realized that it was just like the same thing I had the first time. It is really rich and really greasy. She told me that they are a chain and that they have to stay with the company recipe and that if she could, she would change the way it's made. Maybe you all will really like it, so go ahead and give it a chance, but I recommend a side salad with it to break up the richness.

Had a pizza. Hawaiian. It arrived as a mass of grease-soaked dough. The beer selection was garbage. If you want pizza, there are better pizza joints in Green Bay. If you want bar with televisions, there are better bars in Green Bay. Just don't go to Old Chicago.

Being a WBT member, currently working on my 13th tour, of COURSE I had to stop in while I was in town for a business trip. Sad to say though, it was just nothing impressive. I guess the one near home is just always going to be my 'Cheers' - the service was alright, great beer selection as compared to others I have been to, layout was a little strange - just very divided and seemed sorta cramped.

I've been wanting to come here since we left Mesa AZ. This store has the same quality food as the ones I was used to in Mesa. They have a 2 for 20 deal which my wife and I got. You get 1 appetizer and 2 entrees for $20.00. We ordered the pepperoni rolls with marinara dipping sauce. They were very good. The cheese inside was so hot and gooey it made it hard to pick up with your hand. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which she thought was a bit dry and a side if fries which I thought were too salty for my taste. I ordered my Old Chicago stand by, The Chicago 7 pizza. It was perfectly cooked. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. I think the waitress could have checked on us a little more or refilled the soda once before the meal was finished. When we got the bill it was charged for 2 separate entrees and a separate appetizer. When we brought it to our waitress' attention she immediately apologized and corrected it. The place has a sports theme with several TVs tuned into sports channels. They have pop music as background music. The restrooms were clean. As a matter of fact the floors were still wet and somewhat slippery. I'm looking forward to another visit to this store.

I know, I know. It's pretty cliche that us Chicagoans just had to stop at a place called 'Old Chicago' while in Green Bay. My bf wanted to watch the Bears game and he was convinced that this was the only "safe" place to watch it in town. Nonetheless, Old Chicago had a wonderfully friendly bartender who served us all afternoon. They had great football specials or happy hour specials - like $5 drinks (their version of a long island was great!) and discounted beer as well as nice selections of $5 apps. We tried a trio of sliders, pepperoni rolls and chicken and they were all perfect complement for watching football. The bar had a ton of tv's with multiple games on, but if sports aren't your thang, there's also a dining room with booths and tables. Nice spot!

I had a great experience from a service and ambiance perspective. Lovely staff and nice, clean restaurant. Also very clean bathrooms. Staff did a good job of rotating tables and making a busy Friday evening wait bearable! I was very disappointed in the pizza, though. With the name Old Chicago, one expected true Chicago style deep dish! We got a 14" Chicago thick pizza (as per our waitress' recommendation, it was the perfect amount of pizza for three people). I knew it wasn't going to be deep dish, but the crust and quality was the same as what you'd get at Pizza Hut. The toppings were good, I had basil and sun dried tomatoes, but the crust just wasn't good. If you like Pizza Hut, you'll enjoy this, but it's not true Chicago style sadly. I will go back to try their other menu items as I was impressed by the service, but I won't be back for pizza.

We had a great experience with their carry out recently. The Italian Nachos were pretty awesome and the Pepperoni Rolls were good as well. The food was hot and ready when promised. I'd definitely eat there again.

Attentive, but not excessive service. Variable appetizer menu. Calzone was a taste delight and the pan pizza wasn't a crust. With 104 beers you can always find your favorite.

If your a beer fan, then you'll want to read this review. Honestly, I don't care for chains much, but considering Old Chicago has more than 100 types of beer, I thought I'd give it a try. The place was virtually empty around 2:30 pm. Service was very friendly and I opted for a calzone, it was fresh and very good. Even better is the selections of beers, a good 20 on tap. I'll be back!

Hit or Miss... We have eaten here three times... and only one of them has been a good experience. The first time, we decided that the bad service and mediocre food were due to the 'newness' of the place. The second time (over one year later), the waitress was phenomenal, the food was great - we looked forward to coming back. Last time, OMG. No way are we ever going back here. The restaurant was not even half-full of patrons on a Saturday, yet no tables were available because nobody was clearing/cleaning the tables. There were two 'hostesses' at the door, but they were too busy holding up a wall with their boots to actually work. Our waitress stopped at our table and stared at us. Um, Hello? Can we help YOU?? I asked if we were in time for 'happy hour' and she said, "I don't know." I looked at my phone and confirmed the time and said, "Yes, we are here in time for happy hour." She had no idea what I was talking about even though I was holding the happy hour menu with the days/times on it. We placed our orders (no idea if there were specials or deals) and waited. Our food was dumped onto our table (that was a nice touch) and she left. We didn't see much of her (no idea where she would hide), but did watch her get hailed by another table who asked for more beverages and help with their table (it was being overrun with empty plates/glasses). The waitress grabbed some dishes, dropped a fork on the floor, and then proceeded to put everything on a nearby table -- that still had not been bussed. The fork? We thought that she was going to pick it up, instead she walked towards it and kicked it. Another server walked by it a few minutes later, picked it up, and put it on another dirty table. Wow. The food was meh. The service was beyond lousy. The atmosphere: Dirty. If a table needs to be bussed/cleaned, DO IT. The hostesses were more concerned with their phones/nails/talking. The waitstaff was clueless and didn't seem to care about a thing. Will we be back? Sure, when they clean their tables... which means, not any time soon!

Usually have the club sandwich, which is pretty good. Today I tried the pizza buffet for approximately $11 (including drink and soup or salad but not tip). Pizza was pretty good but choices were below ave. (maybe 2 -4 kinds of pizza at one time) no problem however because I got plenty to eat! Actually i would rather have 4 kinds of good pizza than 10 crappy ones! I did like that you got a warm cookie at the end! What wasn't so great was the service. The waitress/bartender was always gone. Grant it she seemed to be working hard cleaning tables or taking orders. Other times she was just absent. I did not get a drink refill until I was done eating and my salad bowl and used plates were never cleared until I got the check. I felt bad for my waitress because she seemed very nice, just spread too thin! The whole time this was taking place there were 2 hostesses standing at the door waiting to greet customers. Maybe one could have help in the barroom!

We ate dinner here and had the 14" Classic - thin crust pizza-- amazing flavor. Our server was Brooke and she was attentive, courteous and friendly! I would have to say it was the most amazing service by a server/waitress EVER! The food arrived quickly and Brooke stopped by several times to check on us and make sure our drinks were full. Servers around the world should take a class from HER! Thanks Old Chicago!

Were to begin... the first time we went the service was very slow and they were not busy but the pizza was good. We went back a second time after waiting for someone to seat us we seated ourselves... we ordered the pizza which came with a salad and breadsticks.... it took 25 minutes to get the salad which they forgot one salad and brought food out 5 min after. We had to track down a waitress for refills... they forgot our breadsticks so we asked yet another waitress because ours was no where to be seen.. when our waitress finally came over we said we were done and wanted a box which she never brought and we had to remind her.. it wasn't busy!!! How a place could have that terrible of service is beyond me. We will not recommend this place.. This is the first bad review I've ever written which shows how disappointing it was.

Stopped in with the family while staying at the Tundra water park/hotel. Service was fast and friendly. Nice selection of local beers. We had the thin crust classic. Everyone enjoyed the meal. We would stop in again while in the area. Recommended stop.

Variety of tap & bottle beer. Busy place but move people through well. Chicken green chili soup was amazing! Little spice to it added a lot of flavor. Chicago 7 pizza was just as great. Tavern thin crust is perfect as to not fill you up on the crust-able to enjoy the toppings then too. House pizza sauce had a great flavor. Staf very attentive & friendly. Good place for families to gather for dinner.

Stopped in here for a late dinner after the FB game. Soooo thankful they were open since the rest if the city was closed down! We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and perfect service!

The awesome: Most of the time, most of the food is pretty great. The calzones are generous, the pepperoni rolls are delicious, and their massive selection of beer is unmatched. The hit or miss: Believe it or not, the pizza. We used to get consistently awesome pizza, but the last few pizzas have been coming back so-so. One had only 1/4 the toppings it should have (and we've been going there for 4 years, so we know what we're ordering!)... imagine getting the Double Deckeroni and only getting half the pepperoni you'd expect on a regular pepperoni pizza! Another time, the chicago style crust was only half as deep as it was supposed to be. Even the manager was perplexed by that one. They just don't seem to have the quality check before things leave the kitchen sometimes. The wait staff is also hit or miss. Some of them are very attentive and never let your soda get empty, but we've had several staff abandon us on their smoke breaks. Don't bother: burgers. Made from frozen patties. They let you order it how you want, but can never deliver on it. When you complain, they say they can't cook to order. Then say that when I order! It's sad, because they used to have the absolute best burgers. I'd have given 4 stars if they could keep the quality at a consistent basis, but it just isn't there. We used to go to Old Chicago twice a month, but we just don't know what kind of service we are going to get so we don't go quite as often anymore.

Nobody's written a review on this place yet? Maybe everyone feels as guilty as me indulging in a buttery slice of chain pizza heaven and can't show face. Well, I'll dive into the pool of shame first. It's unfortunate that it's not the healthiest choice to eat here but it's way fortunate that the pizza is so damn good. It's also fortunate that they're open late and don't mind serving up a pie at 11pm on a Tuesday. It's so difficult to find a place that serves up good eats open past 9pm in this city. I can't say much for the other entrees but the pizzas are great. They're not the absolute best in the world but plenty good enough for a night that you're craving pizza, the kitchen sink is double-full of dishes and you just can't muster up the strength to even turn on the stand-mixer for a batch of homemade dough. We (the husband and I and/or friends and/or family) have turned to this place plenty of times when the guys just want a beer (they have over 110 varieties) or some family event went late and we still need to catch dinner. The servers are always very friendly and attentive and the bar side stays busy well into post-dinner-rush hours which is great for late night dinners. It's a very relaxed but professional atmosphere, the waitstaff and barkeepers are always joking around with each other but never forget about the customers. Seating is comfortable and casual, there are many booths throughout the restaurant which add to the privacy of the diners. The pizza crusts maintain a fluffy, doughy inside with a crispy bottom no matter which thickness of crust you order. Don't expect New York style thin crust in the Old Chicago's thin crust, ALL pizza's are baked in deep dish pans if that says anything. Generally, a large (14", 6 slices) is enough to feed 2-4 people depending on which crust, how many toppings, level of voracity, etc. There are plenty of other options if pizza isn't on your mind (but really people, when is pizza not on your mind?), their website provides a comprehensive menu to peruse. Old Chicago's a recommended destination, food is good, service is great, and the hours (food is served until 1am) are even better.

I always have a great time when I visit Old Chicago. The food is quite good, very friendly staff, pleasant & fun atmosphere, and a very nice variety of beers; as well as other alcohol beverages. Enjoy a good meal in their dining section, or simply pull up a stool to the bar to wet your whistle. I've never encountered a negative issue or experience yet at Old Chicago, and that is why I felt a 5 star rating was adequate :).
